Marriage Mentors Programs
A marriage the lasts forever begins with engaged couples adjusting expectations to the realities of married living, one another's style & needs, and a biblical standard.
A marriage that lasts forever refocuses on how to more effectively communicate, resolve conflict, meet each other’s needs and convey unconditional love & respect.

Welcome to Marriage Mentors (formerly Aim Straight Marriage & Family); we’re glad you sought us out to be more than just married! Marriage Mentors is a Mentorship Program “building up families, churches & communities by strengthening marriages.” |
Our purpose and mission is to provide faith-based marriage strengthening communication, intimacy, and conflict resolution skills to engaged and married couples in local communities through marriage mentorship programming and partnerships with other marriage resources so as to help them avoid divorce and become healthier families.
We serve a four county area in Northern Indiana and South West Michigan, including the cities of Elkhart, South Bend, Niles, Mishawaka, Plymouth, Goshen, Warsaw, Nappanee, & Bremen.
Marriage Mentors is a non-profit (501-c-3) Christian marriage resource organization that is community-based. We specialize in marriage mentoring!
The cost of one of our mentor programs is very reasonable
Although Marriage Mentors already has over 100 such trained marriage mentor couples in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko, & Marshall Counties, more are needed. You need not have any formal training or experience in marriage or family teaching/training, or counseling.
If you have a healthy marriage that you know is the result of the Lord’s grace and blessing, you may very well be a candidate couple to be trained as marriage mentors in Marriage Mentors marriage mentor program.
All couples experience conflict. The difference between a mentor couple and the struggling couple they are mentoring is that the mentor couple is learning and growing from their conflict whereas the “mentee” couple is not and is in fact, spiraling downward.
One positive result is that we have more of a tendency to talk through a difficulty rather than argue or shout. We are a lot calmer with one another. It is good to know that even though we feel alone, there are other couples who have had similar circumstances and how they coped.
This has been the best thing we’ve ever done for our marriage. It helped us to get over the issues we couldn’t work out in years of marriage.”
